Let me touch on this for a moment, because I know folks feel like there's a lot of questions without answers right now regarding PC development.
The handful of us that are specifically on the community team - folks like @KomoriMan, @AgentFenixion and myself - have been pretty quiet on bringing details regarding what's coming down the road for PC. That much is true. Without a doubt, it is not for a lack of desire; I don't think there is anyone right now that wants more to be able to see lots of details posted about the PC version here on the forums. We feel that frustration because ultimately we pretty much live here with you folks; we don't go back to a workstation to make content when we're done posting, this forum is our work.
We on the community team have a responsibility to ensure that when we are bringing something about the future of Marvel Heroes here to the forums, that whoever handed that to us also brought with them receipts of that work. That way that know that you're getting information not just about plans, but plans that are set in motion and can be shown to us to be tangible and forthcoming.
It is certainly true that bringing Marvel Heroes to console has, especially as of recently, made that task significantly more difficult. Game development can already be a chaotic thing, and this is definitely a large task that we've set before us to bring the game to an entirely new platform. It's come with a whole new set of challenges to solve, which has made specifically that task of making sure future plans have receipts even harder.
That does not mean however that information isn't coming - we've seen or heard the meetings, discussions, e-mail chains and documents that would say otherwise. But it doesn't change our responsibility of making sure those receipts exist by the time that information lands on our forums. The second we have those in hand, you'll see that information posted here - when it can offer something tangible that we can point to.
Does that mean the next piece of info we do have for you is going to change everything and blow everyone's minds? Probably not, I think, at least in the immediate future; we have a lot of work in front of us for our current console closed beta. Without a doubt though it will come, and more will follow.
As far as the console discussion, sure, we will be giving significant attention to that at the moment because that community is just as much our responsibility as the existing one is. The closed beta is tangibly here right now, so it's our job to ensure they feel welcome and have as much assistance from us as we can provide.
The sharp eye would probably point out here at the end that this post, for the most part, is largely what I mentioned we want to avoid; that's not lost on me. I think it's worth saying, however, that we are constantly working to get those receipts and bring that information here, and we won't be stopping anytime soon. The PC community is far from forgotten.
