Now I'm working on 2015 Builds. They will all be in one giant post, with smaller writeups. Check it out here! https://forums.marvelheroes.com/discussion/104672/malfeanww-lazy-n00b-guide-everyone-2015#latest

Hiyo.

So one of the reasons why I play this game is because it doesn't take a ton of theorycrafting or optimization for me to feel awesome. I enjoy talking with friends of mine who do theorycraft quite a bit, like @wyvernfist but generally I just like to feel awesome and beat stuff up in this game. To that end I'm putting together a small collection of beginning builds with characters I've taken to 60 and itemized fairly well, giving my advice in a casual sort of way for leveling and gearing/spec'ing at 60.

If you just want a build that lets you hop on a character, clear content, and start working on becomming a more serious player without having to read the Math threads on here (thanks to those who do them, however!)...then step right up! Let me know what you think, and feel free to add suggestions so I can change them or tell me I'm terribad. These builds feature (in general) the fewest active skills or complex skill/item dependencies that I could come up with.

Now we just need one of these for SW. Her skills look so confusing to me.

My submission of a sleepwalking cyclops build.

It's also fantastic for leveling. Only painful part is waiting for riccochet shot. Top priority leveling is to get grants riccochet early as possible. After that you have two attacks, one debuff, one buff, a travel roll, a cc break, an activated buff, and a damage cooldown. Every single ability can fit on your keys, no hotkeying needed. Swap the medallion for Moleman until 60, get rank 1 and rank 2 costume affixes of health on basic, and you are off.

Riccochet for multiple mobs, OB for single target, Tactical Command for debuff, and a sideroll every 5 seconds. Activate Concussive Force after leaving a hub, and pop Veteran Command on hard targets.

Sleepwalk.

I love it :) While I run a very similar build, I will be certain to tag you as my forum-crush in the guide!

Awesome man. Thanks a lot. I just got my Ultimate SW costume, so time to give her a spin.

Very much hope you enjoy her, I found her a fantastic character to level even pre-rework. Moar DoTs!

Love your guides, keep going!

Actually need a DD guide, being one of the last few i need to level to 60, so special thanks for that one. Any chance for BP, RR, Thing guides soon? Will need em as soon as Cable's up there with the rest of the 60s

About to head to bed now, but I think I can get a Rocket guide up at the very least. Possibly Thing. I'm currently of the opinion that Panther requires a bit more work to get to 60 than most characters, so we'll see what I can come up with.

Cyclops build just posted! I know its a pretty no-brainer, but check for optimization tweeks and some itemization info.

Good guides, funny text, easy to follow. If you haven't read the deadpool guide, read it. It's hilarious along with a nice spec.

These should be very helpful to people new to certain heroes. Keeping them all up to date with changes will be a chore though :)
